Lifeways Counseling

WildCarrotJesse Wolf Hardin and Kiva Rose offer intensive, transformational counseling to individuals and couples. Our work is focused on facilitating authentic living, greater self-knowledge, emotional integration and real life well-being, rather than settling for surface level functionality or fancy coping mechanisms.

In keeping with our emphasis on caring for the whole person, counseling may also include overlap with other healing arts, such as herbal medicine and nutritional guidance. All counseling sessions are by appointment only, on a per donation basis. Please contact Jesse or Kiva for availability and further information.

“Thank you so much for your time and honest consideration and your sincere love for me and my well being. This is exactly why I came to you all. You are my guides on this journey and  I respect your experience, your wisdom, and your compassion.“  -Stacey (NM)

I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your time, your words, and the genuine care…” – Tara, TX

Herbal Consultations

Anemone4Therapeutic goals of an herbal consultations include increased personal wholeness, innate vitality and vibrant wellness, with an understanding that the meaning and manifestations of these qualities are different in each individual. Kiva’s healing consultations have the capacity to assist in the healing of a wide variety of illnesses and imbalances. They address not only the physical health of the client, but also the interconnected emotional, mental and overall well-being of a person. For this reason, Kiva works with constitutional imbalances as well as immediate complaints, through herbal medicines as well as nutritional and lifestyle therapies.

Kiva practices an Animá system of wellness that is as dynamic as it is wholistic, drawing on the accumulated natural healing knowledge of ancient cultures worldwide, but more importantly combining personal experience and integrative insights to create a new model of healing and wholeness for these times.  During an online or on-site Consultation, she will first discuss your feelings and observations about your health with you, noting any patterns or cycles that have either benefited or detracted from your overall well-being.  She will then recommend shifts in those patterns through nutrition, herbs and lifestyle changes to help you not only recover but thrive.  Your consultation includes 1 followup exchange, where you can share your progress or ask for help with continuing difficulties.  You can then apply for further sessions as needed or desired, something we may recommend for those dealing with chronic imbalances.

Please note that while an online consultation does not replace the need for an in-person health care provider, it can fill a need for an overall look at an individual’s life, feelings and patterns and provide accurate information, support and assistance.

Medicines may be supplied to clients depending on availability. If not, resources will be provided to assist in the finding and obtaining of quality botanicals.

Consultations are by appointment only and are limited in number. Please contact Kiva for availability and further information.

“I savor your posts. They are rich, deep and stimulating. A source of moving inspiration. Actually, yours is one of a few places I source when I feel stuck, unmotivated. Your depth of devotion and focus of work moves me out of the dangerous vortex of inertia.”

-Julie McIntyre, Practicing Herbalist & Teacher, The Foundation for Gaian Studies

“Kiva Rose inspires me.  Her passion, fascination and perpetual curiosity of plants, people, nature, and the relationship that binds them in wholeness stirs those touched by it; encourages our own listening, our own insights and musings.  Making it all better, she writes beautifully.  Her ability to capture and convey the spirit of the plants she writes about and the essence of the ideas that guide their use is a gift shared with both humility and mettle.  Kiva, in a word, rocks.”

-Jim McDonald, Practicing Herbalist & Teacher, Herbcraft.org
